Cuyahoga Falls

Our Cuyahoga Falls Tavern sits inside a 1914 powerhouse originally built to operate a dam on the Cuyahoga River. When the dam was removed as part of the city's centennial celebration in 2013, the river returned to its natural flow — and the building found new life as a tavern.

The original gearwork that once moved the dam's water flow doors still hangs above the bar. Outside, multiple patio areas look directly over the river, where guests can take in the water and watch kayakers pass through on a warm evening.
